Work "9. 11" or "Untitled"

The work "9.11"or"untitled"was created under a simple theme "Don't break peace"

From 2003 to 2008, I was a member of the Japan Contract art association (JCAA) supervised by Tomoyuki Ono.

JCAA is a meeting made with Tomoyuki Ono as the secretariat and Toshimitu Imai and Masuo Ikeda backing up

In December 2003, Tomoyuki Ono and me arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport for the ARTEX New York exhibition.

It's my first time in America. I think that people's interest has changed greatly in the wake of the terrorist attacks on September 11.

Manhattan, a towering building. But there was no trade center building that was always a landmark.

Ground zero where the north wind in winter is blowing.

It made me feel like I had a gaping hole in my heart.

I go to the biggest post office in New York.

I managed to buy a stamp in poor English.

On the last day of my stay, I walked from my hotel to Ground Zero for 4 hours without going to the subway.

People in New York are quick to walk.

After all, the stride is large because the length of the foot is different from the Japanese.

I get caught up in the hours of the work rush, and my legs get tangled.

After the Broadway, you'll feel a little quieter, and if you walk silently,

Dawn and Ground Zero again.

I vowed not to start a war again.

The next is Seoul, South Korea, in the spring of 2006.

A tricycle motorcycle runs. The momentum of the city is amazing.

When I went, taepodon was dropped in the Sea of Japan.

Even if you are on a train in Korea at that time, people in bright clothes such as yellow, pink, and light blue stand out.

It's as if nothing had happened.

Were people conscious of peace?

In the summer of 2007, Shanghai, China, a country free of earthquakes.

A higher-rise building thinner than New York. Twinkling neon.

It's a strange city, 60 years ago, when there really was a war.

February 2008 in Perpignan, France.

Has my "untitled" glass box finally come this far?

5 hours by train from Paris. Brick-colored land continues.

It is said that only grapes grow here.

Cross on the edge of France.

There are people of faith living here.

Receive a warm welcome in Perpignan and head to Paris

I find a piano in the lobby of the hotel.

Happy BIRTHDAY song for Tomoyuki Ono's birthday celebration.

It is a tune "Flower" of Lange though it is my unsying performance.

I was able to present Beethoven's "Moonlight".

This is France! Bonjour. Au revoir. Merci.

I really want to say "Thank you" to Tomoyuki Ono.

PS. I saw The Stadler Gallery where Mr. Toshimitu Imai came out to the world in Paris.

The owner changed the name of the gallery. After all, it's Paris!

I think about Japanese art, but I think it's a comptial about my work,

There are people who use horizontal characters that the general public does not understand.

I think I can remain an instinct.

I have made presentations in various countries, but I don't need explanations from foreigners.

Watch, feel, I think that's fine.

If you dare to use horizontal characters, it's an inspiration.

(Horizonntal characters=Japanese"Yokomoji"=difficult English characters)confusing

The soul is there.

That's it.

The Japanese often say, "Please explain it."

What explanation does it have to live?

The work is a living testimony. Live with the times.

There is no style in my paintings. As the times change, so does the work.

Let's return to the standpoint of the person who sees it there.

If the person's position is different, the impression that the person saw before and the impression seen now are different.

The word often used by Mr. Toshimitu Imai and "Control of chance" might work there.

Society is changing. The work seems to be a kind of individual, and it changes.

Alive. All the way.
